Minnie was presumed dead 'as a consequence of war operations' at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 23 July 1941.

She was initially reported as missing in the Belfast Telegraph on 26 April having last been seen during the Easter Tuesday Raid on 16 April.

Minnie was killed when high explosives fell near her home on Edlingham Street and was survived by her husband Charles and their six children. Minnie and Charles are pictured after their engagement.
