The Northern Ireland War Memorial (NIWM) is delighted to support the publication of a new book by author Mark Scott titled Transport Number 4: Vienna 1941.
In December 2025, we organised an intergenerational project to spread some festive cheer. Inspired by the wartime memories shared with NIWM this year, the primary four classes from Maghaberry PS in Moira and Derrychrin PS in Cookstown drew some wonderful Christmas cards to send to our oral history interviewees.

On Monday 27 January 2025, the Northern Ireland War Memorial held a special event to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2025.
In April and May 2024, the Northern Ireland War Memorial (NIWM) marked the anniversaries of the air raids on Northern Ireland with three commemorations. Members of the public were invited to attend to pay their respects and to remember those who were killed as a result of enemy action in April and May 1941.
