Join us this year for a very special #NationalDrawingDay as for the first time the Northern Ireland War Memorial will have a stand at the Balmoral Show!

Come and see us at the Eikon Shopping Village from Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 May 2025 where we will have a Drawing Day competition for you to take part in. There are 3 age categories to enter:

• Age 5 and under: Colour in a picture of Jeannie the Hen and win a copy of NIWM children's book, Jeannie's Adventure to the Countryside and a Jeannie the Hen stuffed toy.
• Ages 6 - 12: Colour in a picture of evacuees on their way to the countryside and win a year's supply of sweet rations.
• Age 13+: Colour in a picture of the Women's Land Army and win a £20 Amazon voucher.

How to take part:

• Visit our stand at Balmoral Show to collect a colouring page or download it below.
• Take a picture of your completed artwork and email it to info@niwarmemorial.org by Saturday 24 May 2025. Please remember to include your contact details.

Terms and Conditions:

By entering, participants will be deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions set out by the Northern Ireland War Memorial.

The competition mentioned above is solely by the Northern Ireland War Memorial. The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administrated or associated with the Balmoral Show or Meta; Facebook and/ or Instagram.

• The competition is split into 3 age categories:
  • Early Years (1- 5 years old)
  • Primary School children (6 - 12 years old)
  • Age 13 +

• The prize is different for each age group:
  • Age 5 and under will win a copy of NIWM's children's book, Jeannie's Adventure to the Countryside and a Jeannie the Hen stuffed toy.
  • Ages 6-12 years old will win a year's worth of sweets, based on Second World War rations of 2oz. per week. This equals 6lbs. 8oz. of confectionery in total.
  • Age 13 + will win a £20 gift voucher.

• The winner of each competition will be announced on NIWM's social media platforms; Facebook and Instagram on Saturday 31 May 2025.
• The prizes will be posted to the winners, in the week commencing 2 June 2025.
• To enter, participants need to send a picture of their completed colouring page to info@niwarmemorial.org by Saturday 24 May 2025.
• The competition will run ("start and end") from Wednesday 14 May 2025 ("start date") to Saturday 24 May 2025 ("closing date").
• If the winner does not respond by 4pm on Friday 6 June 2025 then the winner forfeits the right to claim the prize and another winner may be drawn.
• There are no alternatives to the stated prize.
• The Northern Ireland War Memorial reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this competition at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
