Edith lost her life at her home on Lincoln Avenue during the Easter Tuesday Raid.

Her sister Isabell and brothers Henry and William were also killed.

Edith’s body was taken to St George’s Market where she was identified by her cousin.

She is buried in Holywood Cemetery with her siblings.
