Known as Jean, she was presumed dead in ‘consequence of war operations’ at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 26 June 1941.
She was killed at her home on Ohio Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
Her parents Andrew and Elizabeth, siblings Agnes, Richard and Andrew and great aunt Elizabeth also lost their lives. In total, 25 people were killed on Ohio Street.
Although her family are buried together in Belfast City Cemetery, Jean has no known grave.
