Agnes was presumed dead in ‘consequence of war operations’ at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 19 June 1941.

She was killed along with her sisters Elizabeth and Annie when a parachute mine landed on Percy Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.

At least 48 people were killed in this incident.

She is buried in Carnmoney Cemetery.
