Dona was presumed dead as a ‘consequence of war operations’ at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 26 June 1941.
She was killed when a parachute mine landed on Veryan Gardens during the Easter Tuesday Raid. At least 35 people were killed in this incident.
Dona has no known grave.
