Mary was fatally injured at her home on York Park during the Fire Raid. She was taking to the Royal Victoria Hospital where she succumbed to her wounds.
Her two year old daughter Ann, was also killed in this incident along with seven others on York Park.
Mary was identified by her husband and she is buried in Carnmoney Public Cemetery with her daughter.
