Murdugh George Baird was injured at his home by a high explosive bomb before dying of his wounds at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
He was the son of Francis and Jeanie Baird and the brother of Evelyn Malcolmson who was killed by enemy action on the 5th May 1941.
Murdugh is buried in Belfast City Cemetery.
