Robert was declared dead 'in consequence of war operations' at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 23 July 1941.
He was killed when a parachute mine landed on Percy Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
At least 48 people were killed in this incident including his wife Agnes and daughter Margaret.
