Thomas was injured when a parachute mine landed on Percy Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital where he died of his wounds.
He was one of at least 48 people killed in this incident.
Thomas is buried at Belfast City Cemetery.
