William was killed when a wall of York Street Spinning Mill collapsed onto Sussex and Vere Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
At least 20 people in total were killed on Sussex Street.
William's body was taken to St George's Market where he was identified by his daughter.
William is buried at Milltown Cemetery.
