Belfast Blitz Cathedral Quarter Walking Tour

Join us at the Northern Ireland War Memorial on Tuesday 5 May 2026 to uncover the story of the Belfast Blitz of 1941 with a FREE guided walking tour of the Cathedral Quarter.

Learn how Belfast's architecture was impacted by the air raids by comparing contemporary images of the city to the streets we walk today. Discover how local landmarks were affected and how the face of the city was changed forever.

This year also marks the 85th anniversary of the Belfast Blitz, with this tour taking place on the anniversary of the Fire Raid.

The tour will start at the Northern Ireland War Memorial Museum, 21 Talbot Street, Belfast, BT1 2LD at 1pm, and finish at Belfast City Hall at approximately 2:30pm. The tour will last around 1 hour and 30 minutes in total.

*Booking is essential through Eventbrite: Belfast Blitz Cathedral Quarter Walking Tour*
