Albert was killed by falling masonry at his home on Hogarth Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.

In total, at least 69 people were killed on Hogarth Street, including his son James, daughter Edith and grandson Albert.

Albert's body was taken to St George's market where he was identified by a surviving son.

He is buried in Belfast City Cemetery.
