Richard was killed at his home on Burke Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.
His body was taken to St George's Market where he was identified by his uncle.
Thirteen others lost their lives on Burke Street including his father Thomas, mother Mary, brother Anthony and grandmother Rose.
He is buried in Milltown Cemetery with his family.
