Thomas was presumed dead as a ‘consequence of war operations’ at an inquest held at Belfast City Hall on 23 July 1941.

His mother Isabella, and siblings Isabel, John, and James also lost their lives in the same incident during the Easter Tuesday Raid.

Thomas has no known grave.
