Elizabeth was killed when a wall of York Street Spinning Mill collapsed onto Sussex Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.

Her husband Charles and son Dennis were also killed. Her brother-in-law Francis was also killed.

Elizabeth’s body was taken to St George’s Market where she was identified by her mother-in-law.

She is buried in Milltown Cemetery with her husband and brother-in-law.
