Known as Peggy, she was killed by falling debris at the home of her neighbours, the Clarkes at 4 Ballynure Street during the Easter Tuesday Raid.

Her mother Emily and siblings Samuel, James, Sarah and William were also killed in this incident along with the Clarke and Thompson family.

She is buried in Belfast City Cemetery with her mother and siblings Sarah and William.
