Eileen was killed when a parachute mine struck the spire of Trinity Street Church during the Easter Tuesday Raid.

Her parents Joseph and Bridget, brothers James and Joseph and sister Mary were also killed.

Additionally, her colleagues of ARP Post 396, Kathleen, Maurice, Sean, Rory, Thomas and Robert were also killed in this incident.

Eileen is buried in Milltown Cemetery.
