McKendry Frieze
This hammered copper frieze by local artist James McKendry (b.1935), was originally installed in the War Memorial Building in Waring Street.
The frieze is made up of eleven sections. The upper part depicts the American forces training in Northern Ireland, while the lower part shows the contribution of local industries to the war effort.
