The Belfast Blitz

Belfast was bombed on four occasions in April and May 1941 and nearly 1,000 people lost their lives as a result of enemy action.

Set around a diorama of an air raid warden rescuing a teddy bear from the rubble, on display are items relating to the Belfast Blitz including an incendiary bomb and shrapnel, photographs of the victims and letters and newspapers from the period.
