AGM 2023
In June, we hosted our AGM with trustees, council members and invited guests. We reflected on 2022 which was a busy and successful year for the NIWM. We were delighted to present our Strategic Plan 2023-27, explaining our renewed focus to expand our outreach across Northern Ireland, support a Blitz Memorial for Belfast, and redevelop the museum exhibition to comprehensively reflect Northern Ireland during the Second World War.
We marked the departure of much missed staff members, trustees and council members and celebrated new colleagues and future projects. Pictured here are two retiring Trustees, Mr I Wilson and Chief Officer P Shaw, and our museum mentor E Hill, all receiving presentations to thank them for their valued service to the organisation.
We would also like to thank our council member Guy Warner for providing an informative talk about Nutt's Corner during the Second World War.
